Dynamic Pile Test (PDA)

Pile Dynamic Testing is a quick, cost effective and reliable method of testing deep foundations to obtain information about their capacity and integrity. It is applicable to any type of deep foundations.

A pair of strain transducers and a pair of accelerometers are attached near pile top to obtain signals and measurements. These sensors are connected to an instrument - Pile Driving Anayzer (PDA), which records, process and displays data and results.

CAPWAP (Case Pile Wave Analysis Program) analysis is made on the PDA data after the test is complete.

Pile Dynamic Study

Pile Dynamic Study applies only to driven pile.

The WEAP analysis result can be verified using a PDA to perform real time evaluation of pile capacity, energy transfer, driving stresses and pile integrity for every blow.

Pile Integrity Test(PIT)

Pile Integrity Testing is non destructive method to get the information of pile integrity.

By using a hand held hammer to generate an impact, and an accelerometer placed on top of the pile, PIT test is performed to measure the response of the hammer impact.

PIT test is economical and can check a large number of pile's integrity within a short period.

Cross Hole Sonic Logging Test for pile and diaphragm wall

Crosshole sonic logging (CSL) is a method to verify the integrity of drilled shafts and other concrete piles.

CSL normally requires steel pipe tied to the steel cage. After the shart is drilled, the cage is lowered into the hole and the concrete is poured inside the hole.

After the concrete has cured, the tubes are filled with water as a n intermediate medium, and a sound source and receiver are lowered, maintaining a consistent elevation between source and sensor. A signal generator generates a sonic pulse from the emitter which is recorded by the sensor. Relative energy, waveform and differential time are recorded, and logged.

Instrumented Pile Load Test

The purpose of Instrumented Pile Load Test is to get the load distribution curves of soil along pile shaft.

The instrumentation consists of strain gauges places at selected levels of pile to determine the load at that location for each load applied to the pile head. The gauges are used to measure strain. From the measured strain the forces in the pile can be calculated, and thus the load distribution along pile shaft is known.

Build-in Load Cell” (Bi-direction) Load Test

Bi-direction load test is performed using hydraulic jacks in between pile shaft to seperate the pile shaft and toe loading behavior. The result is analyzed to assess the capacity of the pile, and its construction and long-term performance.
