In general, workers/visitors/customers will have to do their own temperature screening and record in our temperature log. The Company held a one-day goal setting Management Retreat at the Rendezvous' Hotel to bring all Head of Department/Key Appointment Holders collectively together.
The Head of Department/Key Appointment Holder presented on each department's operational results, while other attendees openly supplied feedback and comments. The purpose of the retreat was to engage all participants to identify issues, growth opportunities as well as to brainstorm on ideas to cut cost and improve productivity in a relax and interactive manner.
On the whole, the participants have viewed the time spent as productive and effective. The retreat has successfully created bonding and developed a strong directional consensus within the management team.

Contract 2111, Site Investigation Works for LTA Projects (4) 36 months (25/01/2011 - 25/01/2014) was awarded to Soil Investigation Pte Ltd by the Land Transport Authority.
SIPL held a Company Buffet Dinner at the office premises on 28 January 2011. The dinner was held to show appreciation towards the field staff of SIPL for their contribution and hard work in the past year. Our NTS workers and permanent field staff and supervisors came together for this meal and ate together in a relaxed atmosphere. After a delicious catered buffet dinner, our Operations and Safety Managers took the opportunity to drive home safety messages and tips by conducting a safety talk followed by an entertaining safety quiz, complete with prizes for the correct answers. After the quiz, a lucky draw was conducted with many lucky draw prizes given away.
Among those present at this gathering were Director, Mr. Ting Hua Keong; Accounts Manager, Mr. Ng Joo Sheun; Pile Instrumentation Manager, Mr. Li Hai Gang; Operations Manager Liao Ming Ong, Assistant Operations Manager Chua Kim Seng and Safety Officer Mohd Nordin. Mr Jaiwin Prakash, joined Soil Investigation Pte Ltd on 11th August 2011 as a Geophysicist. He has extensive experience in the Marine Soil Investigation and Marine Geophysical Surveys having worked around the Indian Subcontinent and also in Singapore. His appointment would further enhance the company's reputation as a leading geotechnical service provider in the Marine sector.

Soil Investigation Pte Ltd was awarded with a new contract totalling a sum of SGD$2 million from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 1st March 2010.
The Works under Contract 156IM includes the supply, and installation of instruments, monitoring, recording and presentation of data from these instruments for civil construction works performed under Civil Contract C156.
The scope of works under NSLe Contract 156 (C156) comprises the Design, Construction and Completion of Station and Associated Tunnels at Marina South for North South Line Extension.
The North-South line Extension (NSLe) will be a 1.6 km long, fully underground rail transit system with one new station and associated tunnels
Built fully underground, the North-South Line Extension is an extension of the existing North-South Line that runs southwards from the overrun tunnels after the Marina Bay station into the Marina South area towards to the International Cruise Terminal (ICT).
When completed, the NSLe will provide commuters with an additional transport choice to Marina South Pier and upcoming developments in the vicinity such as the new cruise terminal and Gardens by the Bay. Construction of the NSLe is scheduled to commence in December 2009 and targeted for completion by 2014.
For the month of July 2010 there were safety promotions being held at different sites. The reason for this safety promotion is to award workers, supervisors and other staff for their outstanding performance and awareness towards safety. Some of our staff were recognized for their contribution towards safety and awarded with certificate and gift from individual main contractors in C916, C915 and C917.
